Two days ago we went dancing at El Mur; a plateau just out of town surrounded by wide arches that has a
spectacular view of Bacelona and it´s surroundings. A small group of people
from Begues showed us how to do a number of traditional dances from all over
the world. For example, there were dances from France, England, Ireland and
Romania among others. After dancing we had a picnic and enjoyed the view.
Yesterday morning ment more
digging, in the afternoon we walked a route along some of Begues´ historical
areas. There were multiple vertical caves, some up to a hundred meters deep, a
relatively big Dolman, (a human-made rock formation) and many more interesting
historically relevant places. When we finished our walk we ended up back at the
cave, where we spend the night.
This morning was the last day of
working of this camp. Overall this camp was an interesting experience. We
learned a lot about Archeaology and how an excavation is carried out. All of us
had a lot of fun in the last two weeks and we hope we will remember this
experience for years to come.
